Through experience, we have found that the best way to get a student prepared for the tests that colleges require or recommend is to receive 1-on-1 instruction on that particular exam. The classes are ok, but the problem lies in the "group" setting. Students learn at different paces and need help in different areas. Students in a class may have to spend extra time on content that they already know and move quickly through content that they are struggling with. At Score Savers, we start every student off with a free diagnostic exam. These are full length, previously released exams that we use to assess exactly which areas the student needs help with. Then, based on that exam, we will match the student to a tutor that we feel best meets the student's academic needs. Our students also take weekly exams so that we can track their progress and make sure that they are improving every week. You won't get that type of attention to detail in a multi-student class! While it may be a bit more expensive to go with a 1-on-1 tutoring program, the results prove that it is worth the cost!
